教育理念・目標

　歯学部は良き歯科医療人を育成し，歯科医学を研究，発展させることを目的としています。社会のニーズの多様化と国際化が急激に進む中で，歯科医療もますます高度化しつつあります。

　歯学部では「国民への高度な歯科医療の提供」と共に「先端的な歯科医療の研究開発」を重視した人材育成を行っています。

　歯科医学は幅広い総合的な学問領域です。歯学部では自然科学から人文，社会科学的な分野の教育，研究も行われています。文系，理系に関わらずさまざまな学生が活躍できる学部です。

Educational Philosophy and Purposes

Okayama University Dental School aims to facilitate progress in the dental sciences by turning out excellent dentists. Concurrently with the rapid diversification of social demands and the internationalization of the dental sciences, the quality of dental care has been rapidly improving.

Okayama University Dental School fosters dental education with an emphasis on “providing high quality national dental care” and “conducting innovative research and developing cutting-edge dental care”.

Dentistry is a comprehensive field covering wide range of scientific disciplines. The education and research at Okayama University Dental School covers topics ranging from the natural sciences to human and social sciences. Students with a background in both liberal arts and math and science are able to flourish under our program.
