Entrance Examination Orientation for the Discovery Program for Global Learners

June 19, 2023

On June 17, an online entrance examination orientation for the Discovery Program for Global Learners (GDP) was held. A total of approximately 80 attendees, including high school students, parents and high school teachers, participated in the event, not only from Japan but also from overseas.

During the orientation, comprehensive information about the program and the entrance examination process was presented. Following the presentation, an interactive question-and-answer session was conducted where many attendees were eager to seek answers about various aspects, such as the entrance examination, curriculum, campus life as GDP students, and more. The orientation concluded successfully, effectively addressing the queries and concerns of prospective students and their families.

GDP program is an educational initiative that began in October 2017. It creates a unique environment where international students return from all corners of the globe and Japanese high school graduates converge to study diverse subjects while sharing their rich cultural backgrounds. The program’s core objective is to cultivate globally active individuals who proactively shape their curriculum, irrespective of their school and department.
