From September 9 to 11, the Softball Club represented the Chugoku region at the "58th All Japan University Men's Softball Championship" held at the Iwase Sports Park Softball Field in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture.

The tournament featured 32 schools from across the country, all of which had advanced through their respective regional qualifiers. In the Chugoku region, the top 3 clubs from the preliminary tournament earned the right to participate in the national championship. Okayama University Softball Club secured their spot in the national competition by finishing in third place in the Chugoku regional qualifier held on May 20 and 21.

KAMIMOTO Koki, the captain of the Softball Club and a 3rd-year student in the School of Science, expressed his feelings, saying, "Since the beginning of our club activities, we've been practicing with the goal of making it to the national tournament. When we won the Chugoku regional qualifiers and secured a spot in the national championship, it was a moment of great joy for us. Although we were unfortunately eliminated in the first round of the national tournament, the experience on such a grand stage provided us with invaluable memories that we will cherish throughout our university lives".
