The 2013 Okayama University Autumn Degree Ceremony was held on September 30 at the 50th Anniversary Hall, witnessing 102 undergraduate and graduate students who had successfully completed their studies take a new step forward in their lives.

　President Kiyoshi Morita presented degree certificates to four representatives from the undergraduate school, master's degree courses, doctor's courses and the professional degree courses. The congratulatory speech for the ceremony was given in English as part of the university's effort to train globally active human resources, and stated the hope that the graduates would undertake action worldwide to cultivate the knowledge and education they have received at the university to solve the global challenges that the world faces right now. The students, on receiving their degree certificates, stated their intention to work ever harder in the future to make use of all that they had learned.
