Our International Center and the AMDA Multisectoral & Integrated Development Services (AMIDA-MINDS, headquarters: Okayama Pre.) * held a “Together with the people in developing countries” Lecture on June 16th in the General Education Block A, Classroom A-41.
Chiho Matsumoto, involved in the Nepal business of the AMDA-MINDS talked about what lead to her current employment after she got employed at a corporation and then participated in the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, what triggered her to want to get involved with international cooperation, and about the Nepal business that is currently being conducted. About 30 students, teaching staff, and the general public listened to the lecture eagerly and a lively Q&A session was conducted.
Furthermore, in conjunction with this lecture, a photo exhibition, “Connecting Smiles” of the staff working with the AMDA-MINDS’ and the local people, was held from June 16th to June 20th 2014 in the General Education Block C Entrance Hall.
