The FY 2014 Autumn Matriculation Ceremony for the Undergraduate and Graduate Schools was held on October 8th at the administrative building on the Tsushima Campus. The new students took their first step toward university life with high expectations.

A total of 60 undergraduate and graduate school students attended. President Kiyoshi Morita welcomed the students by saying in English “Okayama University is working hard to provide you all with a better learning and living environment. I hope university life serves as a wonderful experience in all of your lives.”

Shiori Yamazaki who enrolled in the Matching Program Course said the following about the course: “You can study by going beyond the framework of departments, and so I would like to study a variety of subjects such as chemistry and pharmaceutics.”
