Assoc. Prof. Yan Mi and a total of 11 undergraduate and master’s students from Zhejiang University of Technology (P.R.China), which Okayama University has an international exchange agreement with, visited the Tsushima Campus from July 23-30 to attend the international seminar called “International Student Symposium on Materials and Mechanical Engineering at Okayama 2017.”

This seminar was led mainly by Prof. Mitsuhiro Okayasu from Okayama University’s Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology. Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Eiji Tomita acted as the advisor and an international program consisting of lectures and experiments related to mechanical engineering, as well as research reports presented in English, were held. This was the second time for the seminar to be held from last year, and approximately 30 students from Okayama University attended.

Okayama University and Zhejiang University of Technology signed a university level agreement in 2016 to promote, strengthen, and continue international exchange on a personal and academic level.
