During November 3-5, Okayama University held the Tsushima Festival (until the 4th) on the Tsushima Campus and the Shikata Festival on the Shikata Campus.
At the Tsushima Festival, as usual, the cultural clubs had exhibitions, music clubs performed live, the tea ceremony club served tea, the cheering squad and Uraja dance team put on a performance, and experiential events and sports events for children were held. The wide variety of booths had long lines and was a success every day. The rapper and singer-songwriter SKY-HI held a concert to a full audience to much excitement.
At the Shikata Festival, medical poster sessions titled “Common mental health issues” were displayed, medical checkup stations were set up, and dental students provided instruction on the proper way to brush your teeth, all of which were unique to the medical campus. Besides the various booths that were set up, participatory events such as a karaoke contest and drag contests were held, and a talk show by Ryo Yoshizawa was put on, where many audience members came to enjoy the events.
