On November 6, El Salvador’s Ministry of Education Secondary Education Director ÁGUILA CHÁVEZ Óscar de Jesús and his group paid Executive Vice President for International Affairs Hiroshi Kanzaki a courtesy call.
The director visited Okayama University as part of the 2017 Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Knowledge Co-Creation Program on Improvement of quality of mathematics education in secondary education, which is held in Okayama University. The group shared how this training leads to improvement of education in their home country.
Educators from Guatemala who were also in attendance, will be creating lesson plans and hold mock class exercises as trainees for this program.
