On April 25, the Faculty of Environmental Science and Technology of Okayama University held an on-campus workshop under the theme “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Okayama University’s Efforts” at the Faculty of Environmental Science and Technology Building.
The workshop was attended by 55 faculty members and students. Workshop participants rediscovered the fact that the Setouchi region has great potential to help achieve the SDGs, including Okayama’s environmental efforts and Hiroshima’s initiative to promote peace.
The lecture was followed by a lively Q&A session. The Faculty of Environmental Science and Technology will make further efforts to help achieve the SDGs.
