From May 27 to June 1, Okayama University(OU) participated in the 2018 NAFSA (Association of International Educators) Annual Conference, which was held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The University has been participating in this annual conference since 2011 in Vancouver, Canada(except 2013).

OU showcased its research activities and study-abroad programs at the independent booth set in the Study in Japan pavilion. Study in Japan unit run by JAFSA (Japan Network for International Education) was one of the largest sections, where 51 exhibitors including 49 Japanese universities exhibited. Staff of Center for Global Partnerships and Education representing OU held discussions with counterparts from partner universities, established contacts with prospective partner institutions, and exchanged information with representatives from other Japanese and international universities during the conference.
