On November 15, the Okayama University Faculty of Economics hosted the “Three-University Symposium on Business and Economic Studies 2019” in its large conference room. Seven research reports on economics and business were presented. The symposium was attended by as many as 30 participants, including Vice President YOKOI Atsufumi for Global Engagement Strategy.
Professor Yu Aizhi from Central University of Finance and Economics (China), Professor Park Sangmoon from Kangwon National University (Korea) and several other researchers reported their research results. The reports covered a wide variety of fields, such as industrial policy, population issues and financial policy, trends in the price of livestock products, stock price forecasting theory, entrepreneurs and external financing, and culture and the economy. Constructive discussions on each presentation took place.
Prior to the symposium, a welcome reception was held at Recent Culture Hotel to deepen the friendships with researchers invited from China and Korea.
This annual symposium is hosted in turns by Okayama University Faculty of Economics and two of its overseas partners, Central University of Finance and Economics and Kangwon National University. The symposium is expected to help the establishment of an international research network across northeast Asia.
