Just as the boats donated last year performed well in this year's tournament, I hope that "Suiren" will also play an active role in the upcoming tournament."

The members who attended the presentation ceremony included YONEYAMA Motoi, a vice chairman of the Kyokusui Teiyukai, Professor TAKESHITA Yuji, a director of Rowing Club, Captain TODA Takumi (Faculty of Law, sophomore) and Ms. OHHIRO Saki (Faculty of Agriculture, sophomore). After the ceremony, it was told that the origin of the name of the new boat is "To fall in love with water".
