International Baccalaureate
Okayama University was the first National University in Japan to start IB Admissions, in 2012.
Over a period of 9 years, in order to become more IB friendly, Okayama University has made great efforts to support IB students, actively network with IB schools, create easy to understand IB admission policies, and conduct research on IB education. As a result, many IB students from IB schools in Japan and abroad have enrolled into Okayama University and continued on to graduate school. A growing number of IB students have also graduated and found their dream jobs. Okayama University will continue to increase IB admissions, support IB students and actively promote IB education and research.
