Features and Description of Medical Care
Okayama University Hospital is the central hospital for sick children in the Chugoku and Shikoku districts. Okayama University Hospital collaborates with about 20 related hospitals (core hospitals in different regions), especially in the Chugoku and Shikoku districts, to provide the most appropriate medical network to individual patients. Board-certified medical specialists and supervisors in almost all fields of pediatric medicine are engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
The pediatric wards are equipped with nursing facilities and hospital schools (elementary and junior high schools), responding to children who are hospitalized for a long time. We offer the latest and most advanced pediatric health care safely and with a feeling of high security. We seek to inform patients and their families of what care we are providing and have them understand it to their satisfaction.
