What is the Head and Neck Cancer Center?
The head and neck region is one of the most important part of the human body and is involved in eating, breathing, speaking, and facial appearance. Cancer of the head and neck (cancer of the tongue, throat, jaw, nose, ears, etc.) that occurs in this region significantly impairs these functions. Therefore, the treatment of these cancers requires a wide range of expertise in multiple fields in order to maintain patients' lives after treatment while seeking a radical cure for the cancer. The center was established in April 2012 and a contact person is placed in the outpatient department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
